Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team in Doha Qatar. As an Accounts Payable specialist you will play a crucial role in managing our companys financial obligations and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

  • Process and verify invoices expense reports and payment requests
  • Manage vendor accounts and maintain accurate records in the Accounts Payable ledger
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable sub-ledger with the General Ledger
  • Prepare and process domestic and international payments
  • Assist in monthly quarterly and year-end closing procedures
  • Monitor and reconcile vendor statements and handle vendor inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies accounting standards and local tax regulations
  • Prepare and file various tax-related documents including TDS and VAT reconciliations
  • Assist in payroll processing and related tasks
  • Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records
  • Implement and maintain an efficient filing system for financial documents

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable preferably in a corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements in Qatar
  • Experience with foreign currency transactions and international payments
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
