Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. We are a career destination with over 6000 colleagues who reflect the diversity of our community.

HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your Role:

  • Performs a variety of support tasks within Compensation and Benefits Administration.
  • Interacts directly via telephone or email with colleagues to provide information on the compensation retirement and benefit programs offered by Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Inc. (TMH).

  • Director/Comp and Benefits

Supervises:

  • None

WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources (HR) business or related field.
    • Note: Human Resources may accept two (2) years of related professional work experience in lieu of the required education.

Required Experience:

  • HR experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office (Word Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities using formulas pivot tables and v-lookup.
  • Willingness to attend MS Office classes on- or off-site to enhance MS Office skill level.
  • High attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Knowledge of a human resources information systems (HRIS).
  • Ability to learn new systems and tasks.
  • Ability to administer and interpret TMH policies procedures and operations accurately and effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize work. Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (to communicate and interact professionally and effectively (both orally and in writing) with management co-workers colleagues and external sources).
  • Demonstrated time management skills.
  • Willingness to be flexible.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of compensation practices. Healthcare experience.
  • General understanding of HR management principles and practices; and federal state and local laws and regulations.
  • Exposure to organizations current HRIS system or a similar HRIS system.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

  • None

Preferred Certification/License/Registry:

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential(s).
