Job Description
Summary
Manages the day-to-day operations of the department to include recommending departmental policies and procedures on safety daily staffing productivity competencies departmental and individual education and compliance with a wide range of local state and federal regulations. Sets the standards of leadership and support for the hospitals mission by demonstrating high personal and professional standards. Responds to questions from internal sources patients and family members regarding service by Colleagues. This position functions under indirect supervision and reacts to change proactively; handles other tasks as assigned. Directs installation and operation of PACs manages the ongoing operations of Meditech and other software applications utilized in the Imaging Department.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum Education:Bachelors degree in Radiological Sciences or Health Care Administration be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. Valid license issued by the Radiologic Division of the Indiana State Board of Health.
- Minimum Experience:3 years in related work situation.
- Preferred Experience:5 years in related work situation.
- Certifications Required: Current AHA CPR certification.
- Certifications Preferred: CRA
