- Works withcounseltomanagelitigation anddefenseofclaimsdeterminedtobefraudulent.
- Formulates investigativestrategieswiththefieldcasualtySIUinvestigatorbefore adoptinganSIUplanofaction.
- ConsultswithfieldSIUinvestigatorbeforeengagingtheservicesofanoutsidevendorfor SIUwork.
- Documents fileswithinvestigation summaries andactionplans inatimely manner reflecting thecollaborationSIUplan and evidence gathered.
- Maintains adatabaseofreferralsassignmentsandresultsandreportsfindingstomanagement.
- Ensures allSIUactivity complies withtheappropriate statesregulatory requirementsauthority andChubbsanti- fraud philosophy.
- Along withthefieldSIUinvestigator ensures thatbothSIUresources andexaminersreceivetimely anti-fraud training in compliance with local state(s) regulations and Chubb SIU requirements.
- Analyzefirstreporttodeterminenature oflosscoverageprovidedandscope ofinjury/damage.
- Deliver superior customer service and satisfaction by initiating prompt contact setting expectationsandeffectively utilizing allavailable withdiverse customers including insureds andagents effectively demonstrates fullunderstanding ofthecustomers including insureds and agents business and operating environment.
- Applyknowledgeofjurisdictionalregulationsandcaselawinallterritorieshandled.
- Conductinvestigationsofallaspectsofreportedclaimsincludingpotentialfraud.
- Secureallappropriatesupportingdocumentationandverifysameforaccuracyrelationship andcompleteness.
- Establishaccurateandtimelyreserves.
- Seektechnicalassistancereserveandsettlementauthorityinhandlingclaimsexceedingdelegatedauthority.
- Effectiveinventory management. Monitor sametoachievetimely development ofthefileandtimelydisposition ofthe claim.
- Exercisegoodjudgment inreaching final dispositionofclaimby evaluating nature oflossliabilityinjury/ damage coverage provided and applicable limits.
- Effectivelynegotiatecompromisesettlementswhereappropriate.
- Recognizeandpursuesubrogationwhereapplicable.
- Effectivelycontroltheuseworkproductandexpensesofoutside vendors.
- Activelyparticipate incommittees andtaskforceprojects related todepartment and/orbranch business issues and quality initiatives.

The pay range for the role is $106000 to $170000. The specific offer will depend on an applicants skills and other factors.
