The Mitsubishi Electric Innovation Center (MELIC) is Mitsubishi Electrics open innovation hub in North America. Located in Cambridge MA MELIC drives new venture creation strategic startup partnerships and digital transformation initiatives. We work closely with business units academic institutions and entrepreneurs to turn high-potential ideas into scalable solutions across energy mobility automation and AI.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategically minded and analytically rigorous Manager Strategy and Innovation to lead critical assessments of new product and business opportunities. In this role you will be responsible for conducting ROI analysisto evaluate investment potential and applying value engineering to optimize early-stage product concepts. You will help MELIC make data-driven go/no-go decisions shape product strategy and drive cost-effective innovation.
This position bridges corporate strategy product development and venture buildingideal for a candidate who thrives at the intersection of business insight and technical feasibility.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $111200 and $152900; however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including commissions based on achieving individual performance and/or sales metrics incentive compensation and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these additional compensation and benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
