About the job
Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Senior Full Stack Developer (Backend Focus) where youll play a key role in solving complex platform-level problems. Youll work in six-week development cycles contributing to both feature development and system design in an environment that encourages autonomy and ownership.
Feature Development: From planning to production youll be hands-on in building features that impact thousands of users.
Tech Stack Proficiency: Work with on the backend Angular on the frontend and manage data with MongoDB.
Cloud Experience: Build and maintain scalable systems in AWS using a service-based and event-driven architecture.
System Design and Architecture: Help define the structure of new services and ensure our platform is robust flexible and ready for growth.
Job requirements
About you
Youre an experienced full stack developer with a strong backend focus who brings a deep understanding of building and maintaining production systems. With 5 years of hands-on experience youre fluent in TypeScript confident working with AWS and comfortable taking ownership of core services that other teams and customers depend on.
Youve worked with Angular on the frontend and you have a strong grasp of API design system architecture and authentication/authorization flows. A background in DevOps or platform engineering (e.g. CI/CD infrastructure as code AWS) is a definite plus.
Youre proactive structured and enjoy designing clean maintainable systems. You value thoughtful communication and feedback and you work well in a team that challenges and supports each other to grow.
About the team
Youll be joining our Platform Experience team which builds and supports the core services that keep Fashion Clouds platform running smoothly. We focus on making sure key features work well for both users and other teams.
Our responsibilities include:
User and organization management enabling smooth account creation team structures and platform access.
Authentication and authorization handling user sign-ups logins access control and role-based permissions.
Core platform services such as notifications SDKs services and Frontend application to be used by other product teams.
Maintaining the design system so that our product looks and feels consistent across all parts of the platform.
We work closely with other product teams and help them move faster by providing the tools and systems they need to build great features.
