Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant. Join ourHealth and Education teamand help play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting analysis and accounting services while driving efficiency accountability and process improvement. Reporting to the Finance Manager youll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What Youll Do

This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:

  • Support the Accounting Services team in a high-performance culture environment ensuring adherence to deadlines and Accounting Standards compliance
  • Actively contribute to an accurate and timely end-of-month reporting including reconciliations accruals and variance analysis
  • Proactively communicate with key stakeholders providing clear and timely updates on financial performance risks and required actions.
  • Ensure financial obligations and reports are submitted ahead of deadlines mitigating risks of noncompliance
  • Assist with both external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and insights

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/ Finance or a related field (required).
  • Mandatory CPA or CA with postgraduate degrees (i.e. MBA Masters in Corporate Finance etc.).
  • Proven experience in financial management and accounting with a strong understanding of budgeting forecasting EOM reporting and data analysis.
  • Sound understanding of relevant accounting standards/guidelines and applicable legislation.
  • Developed stakeholder management skills and the proven ability to develop maintain and influence business relationships.
