Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant. Join ourHealth and Education teamand help play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting analysis and accounting services while driving efficiency accountability and process improvement. Reporting to the Finance Manager youll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What Youll Do
This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:
- Support the Accounting Services team in a high-performance culture environment ensuring adherence to deadlines and Accounting Standards compliance
- Actively contribute to an accurate and timely end-of-month reporting including reconciliations accruals and variance analysis
- Proactively communicate with key stakeholders providing clear and timely updates on financial performance risks and required actions.
- Ensure financial obligations and reports are submitted ahead of deadlines mitigating risks of noncompliance
- Assist with both external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and insights
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/ Finance or a related field (required).
- Mandatory CPA or CA with postgraduate degrees (i.e. MBA Masters in Corporate Finance etc.).
- Proven experience in financial management and accounting with a strong understanding of budgeting forecasting EOM reporting and data analysis.
- Sound understanding of relevant accounting standards/guidelines and applicable legislation.
- Developed stakeholder management skills and the proven ability to develop maintain and influence business relationships.
