What youll be doing:
Business Credit Controls Specialist is responsible for supporting the banks loan portfolio management.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work youll be on-site in our Chicago IL office anywhere between two to three days a week.
How youll succeed
Entering financial statements into Moodys CreditLens (financial statement spreadsheet application)
Processing loan covenant submissions using the banks proprietary system RM Central by verifying that the correct documents are submitted and determining whether calculated covenants meet the required threshold.
Providing support to other areas of the Credit Risk Management department.
Must possess an interest in commercial loan portfolio management
Must be detail and process oriented with strong critical thinking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required including analytical skills/spreadsheet experience
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team
Priorexperienceor internship infinancial institution is a plus
College Degree required; 3.0 GPA preferred

At CIBC we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $61000K - $65000K for the Chicago IL market based on experience qualifications and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
