ManpowerGroup Greece is looking on behalf of its client a fast-growing and innovative company in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Software Development for a Junior Software Engineer to join their team.
Our client is an international tech company with strong presence in Greece and abroad. They specialize in delivering AI-powered solutions for sectors such as industry healthcare and infrastructure combining deep technical expertise with real-world applications. Location: Athens City Center
Work Model: This is a full-time on-site role based in their City Center Athens office
Reporting Line: Directly to the Team Leader
What you will do:
As a Junior Software Engineer you will contribute to the development of real-world AI solutions by supporting the design implementation and deployment of machine learning models and applications. Youll work alongside experienced engineers helping to build scalable backend services integrate ML models into production and develop user-facing features. This is a hands-on role where youll gain exposure to full-stack development and modern technologies while continuously growing your technical skills.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Assist in the design development and testing of machine learning models using Python (e.g. PyTorch scikit-learn)
- Contribute to backend development using FastAPI or Flask and support basic frontend tasks (React )
- Help build data pipelines and integrate AI models into production environments.
- Support the deployment and monitoring of ML models using cloud services (AWS GCP)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists Software Engineers Product) to build end-to-end solutions
- Participate in code reviews documentation and agile ceremonies
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch
- Experience with Database such as SQL
- Some exposure to frontend frameworks like React or Angular is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
Will be highly appreciated:
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
