Deputy Nursery Manager
Salary: Up to 35000

Were working with a beautiful nurserywith a wonderful outdoor garden and a true sense of community. The nursery is now looking for a confident experienced and caring Deputy Nursery Manager to support the leadership team and help maintain their high standards of care and education.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified early years professional ready to take the next step in their careeror for an experienced deputy looking for a fresh rewarding challenge. Youll be part of a supportive passionate team who put childrens wellbeing and development at the centre of everything they do.

What Were Looking For

  • A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager or Room Leader with leadership responsibilities
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS Ofsted requirements and safeguarding practices
  • Excellent communication teamwork and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for early years education and child development

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Help lead and inspire the staff team ensuring best practice throughout
  • Step in as Acting Manager when required
  • Promote a safe stimulating and nurturing environment for children
  • Foster strong positive relationships with families and external agencies
  • Assist in maintaining high standards in safeguarding compliance and health and safety
