The Opportunity
We have three exciting opportunities to join the Finance Operations team!
The Stores Purchasing Officer provides a range of professional and high-quality administrative services to support the effective operation of the P2P Stores within the Purchasing Services Team. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality inventory service of goods including dangerous and temperature sensitive products which requires a thorough understanding of Occupational Health and Safety standards and the application of these.
As the Stores Purchasing Officer you will be required to maintain adequate levels of stock to meet demands for staff and students including ordering through suppliers and vendors. The role also provides support services in relation to safety practices and the handling and disposal of hazardous materials operating within the Universitys purchasing standards and policies. The position requires the application of thorough knowledge of tax laws university policies and compliance procedures while upholding the highest standard of customer service.
