New full-time opportunity for a Loading Dock Operator at a state-of-the-art facility. CBD based role.

  • Offering$27.92 per hour - Above Industry GeneralAwardwages
  • Ideally have experience in a warehouse setting NO forklift license required

What youll do

A day in the life of our Loading Dock Operator is incredibly diverse and you can expect it will involve some of the following responsibilities:

  • Perform safe and correct operation of Loading Dock functions
  • Complete all warehousing receipt and dispatch activities
  • Input of orders/inventory information into electronic systems (e.g. SAP Navision etc.) and up to date records are maintained
  • Perform all manual handling duties using correct equipment
  • Maintain all equipment and premises in a clean and serviceable condition
  • Provide professional efficient and timely customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Liaise closely with suppliers to manage/monitor inventory controls and distribution of contract waste materials and consumables.
  • You will have to adhere to strict compliance requirements due to the client being a leading biotech company undergo extensive training to gain access to all required areas of the facility

What youll bring

  • Knowledge of efficient inventory and stock control principles preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of structured safety legislative and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Tech savvy with experience using Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word and ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to multitask and switch between tasks easily

**Please note as a prerequisite for this role candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical check National Police Clearance and reference checks.
