Our East Indianapolis IN center is looking for a compassionate and driven licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences. This role is Full Time and New Grads are welcome to apply!

Days needed: Full Time hours Monday-Friday with two later evenings until 6:00 p.m.

Compensation: $70000- $85000 annual base with sign on and unlimited student debt benefit!

  • Implements with minimal supervision high quality physical therapy services for patients caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
  • Develops treatment plans supervises assistants and aides contributes to case management and provides quality patient care.
  • Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.
  • In states where permitted: document in charts using accepted medical terminology and format.
  • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy.
  • Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice.
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
  • Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
  • Evaluate treat and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers physicians patients family members and third-party payors at all times.
  • Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

Required Credentials:

  • New Grads welcome to apply!
  • Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinical rotation if new grad
  • Outpatient experience in the last 5 years if practicing clinician
  • Affiliation with APTA recommended but not required.
  • State licensure/registration where applicable.
