JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking a hands-on task-oriented Greenhouse Cultivation Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our cannabis greenhouse. Reporting to the Cultivation Manager this role will supervise cultivation agents ensure compliance with all state regulations and internal protocols and help drive the production of high-quality cannabis flower in a dynamic large-scale agricultural environment.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Supervise daily cannabis cultivation activities including pruning defoliation training irrigation pest monitoring and harvest staging
- Ensure consistent execution of SOPs and cultivation schedules to support optimal plant health and yield
- Lead and coach team members in regular garden operations such as topping trellising skirting and transplanting
- Participate in hiring training and performance management activities to support staffing and team development needs
- Monitor plant health and environmental metrics to proactively address issues
- Maintain compliance with cannabis regulations including accurate data entry in track-and-trace systems.
- Coordinate movement of plants across growth phases and ensure documentation is timely and accurate
- Support implementation of IPM sanitation procedures and nutrient regimens
- Collaborate with the Cultivation Manager to evaluate performance metrics and meet production targets
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a greenhouse or large-scale cultivation setting; cannabis experience required.
- Degree in Plant Science Horticulture Agronomy or a related field a plus.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a cultivation agricultural manufacturing or related production environment; experience leading teams in a greenhouse environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of plant growth cycles environmental controls and cultivation facility operations; IPM knowledge a plus.
- Experience implementing safety practices in a regulated facility preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot cultivation issues and adapt to evolving crop strategies
- Strong computer literacy in data entry greenhouse management systems and MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance systems (e.g. METRC) a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to work in a hot/humid greenhouse setting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and schedules based on business demands including weekends or holidays if needed
- Requires work around plant material which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
- Requires ability to sit stand kneel and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
- Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.

$50000 - $55000 USD
