A TYPICAL WEEK:
Working as part of a dynamic and dedicated team the Commercial Analyst performs commercial loan portfolio support and maintenance functions business development support activities and conducts due diligence and analysis on complex loan applications. The incumbent also assists with the analysis of potential Canada Mortgage Bond transactions and identifying and acting upon new business opportunities within existing loan portfolios.
1. Performs the following support functions in the management of Atlantic Centrals (AC) syndicated loans and League Savings & Mortgages (LSM) commercial loan portfolios including:

4. Conducts appropriate due diligence and analysis to determine the strength of complex loan applications including but not limited to:
As the ideal candidate you will have successfully completed will have successfully completed a Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in Finance or a related discipline plus have a minimum of 5 years Commercial Lending experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

LOCATION:
This position will be based in our Halifax NS office and provides services throughout Atlantic Canada therefore offers the ability to work remotely as required.
TRAVEL EVENING AND WEEKEND WORK:
This position requires occasional travel sometimes overnight through Atlantic Canada and occasional evening and weekend work.
