Job Description
Outwood Academy Riverside founded in September 2020 through the Free School Programme implements the Riverside values program for all students of every academic year.
The academy is dedicated to a wide variety of students who enrol ensuring strong routines and top-notch pastoral care for all pupils.
Located at Russell Street Middlesbrough Outwood Academy Riverside is set to have a new school built on Pioneering Way close to Middlesbrough College. Additionally a satellite site in Eston recently opened in September for our new year 7 students as the school continues to grow.
We are seeking to appoint an energetic enthusiastic and inspirational DT Technician with a strong commitment to working with young people in an educational setting. As a DT Technician you will support the DT department in the preparation for lessons and assist with practical lessons when required. To assist teachers and support teaching and learning you will be required to work with small groups of students. You will also be highly organised and able to manage your time effectively. Full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
We believe that all support staff within our Family of Schools are key posts in terms of securing student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences. As such we are keen to recruit dedicated and ambitious individuals who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.
