The Opportunity

We are looking for a value driven experienced Senior HR professional to partner with stakeholders in building leadership capability in driving employee engagement managing performance and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. We partner with our people to create environments where everyone can thrive.

  • Full time Permanent role
  • Hybrid (WFH) and Melbourne CBD with travel to regional offices
  • Competitive salary Super Salary packaging and Motor Vehicle allowance $10500

Key Responsibilities

  • ProvideHR advice support and guidance to leaders and staff
  • Manage complex workplace relations matters including representing the organisation at Fair Work and liaising with unions
  • Develop and implementHR policiesand procedures.
  • Support and coach leaders in managing performance and development initiatives and outcomes
  • Ensurecompliancewith relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement that supports the People & Culture strategy
  • Embrace and demonstrate your commitment to diversity and inclusion in your practice

About You

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships within a portfolio in addition to having significant expertise in all aspects of HR.

  • Extensive experience in HR business partnering roles in community services specifically in disability services and/or child youth and family services.
  • Strong expertise in industrial relations including interpretation/understanding ofenterprise bargaining agreements and awards and Fair Work legislation.
  • Experience in workforce planning change management and employee engagement.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of diversity and inclusion principles in a workforce setting
  • Strong communication interpersonal coaching and leadership skills
  • Current knowledge of trends in human resources practice leadership development and industrial relations.
  • Bachelors Degree or postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management
  • Demonstrated understanding of disability services sector legislation and/or child safe work practices including Reportable Conduct and Child Incident Management Systems
