We are seeking a Clinical Director to oversee and manage our substance abuse facility in New Jersey. The Clinical Director will be responsible for the clinical and administrative aspects of the program including managing a team of clinicians developing and implementing treatment plans ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and promoting a positive and supportive environment for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to a team of clinicians including psychologists social workers and addiction counselors.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for clients based on individual needs and evidence-based practices.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations including HIPAA CARF and OSHA standards.
- Monitor program outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives to improve client outcomes and program effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and referral sources.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to develop and manage program budgets and billing processes.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed for clients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.
Requirements:
- Masters or doctoral degree in clinical psychology social work or a related field.
- Current state licensure: LAC with supervisor credentials.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in substance abuse treatment including experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse treatment including cognitive-behavioral therapy motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care.
- Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of clinicians and administrative staff.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and billing systems.
