They are seeking a highly skilled Interim Controller to join their team on a 3 month contract basis. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless financial management during a transitional period. Key Responsibilities:
Take charge of the month-end close process including closing the books preparing and posting journal entries reconciling GL accounts and preparing financial statements.
This is a hands-on role but you will lead and manage a team of two.
Provide comprehensive financial oversight and ensure the smooth operation of all financial processes.
Utilize Sage 300 software (highly preferred) and ProCore for efficient financial management and reporting.
Maintain construction cost management and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
Proven experience in the Construction/Real Estate/Development industry is essential.
Strong background in construction cost management.
CPA designation is preferred.
Proficiency in Sage 300 software is highly preferred; familiarity with ProCor is advantageous.
Ability to adopt a hands-on approach in managing financial operations.
Strong understanding of overall financial perspectives and processes.
