Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech. Vishay-Ametherm is currently seeking applicants for a Maintenance Technician. As Maintenance Technician you will work with machinery equipment and tools to keep them in good working order
Job Location:
The ideal candidate will be working on-site in the state of Nevada USA in Carson City. Carson City is the state capital and is just a quick 30 minutes from the beautiful Lake Tahoe and 30 minutes away from The Biggest Little City Reno.
What you will be doing:
< >Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment including cleaning lubrication and calibration. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime. Identify and implement preventive maintenance procedures to improve equipment reliability. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Identify and report safety hazards. Participate in safety training and drills. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment Assist with general housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Use basic electronic skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Handle miscellaneous duties throughout the plant as needed
What you will bring along:
High school diploma or equivalent.
< >Technical certification or Associates degree in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical electrical or process engineering) preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment. Proficiency in using measurement instruments and diagnostic tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Entry-level positiontraining will be provided. Basic electronic skills and a willingness to learn more Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hands-on fast-paced environment
Pay Rate: $18-$25 per hour depending on experience.
