Job Description
ReportsTo:Operation and Production Manager
Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
- Supervisecoachandsupportall directreports
- UsesProblemSolvingProcesstoidentifyrootcauseofanissueandworkstoassign proper team to implement countermeasurein assembly welding and fabrication of components sub-assemblies or final assemblies
- Consistentlyusesdailymanagementtoensurecontinuousflowthroughtheirareafor1stand 2ndshift
- Activelyusesvisualmanagementtomonitorday-to-dayproductivityonthefloorandcan quickly identify potential issues that may disrupt flow
- Definesandrecommendsproductionobjectivesthroughdevelopmentofshort-andlong- term goals
- Supervisesinstallationand maintenanceofall equipmentusedinmanufacturing
- Ensurespromptcost-effectiveand ontimedeliveryoffinishedproductstocustomers
- Coordinatesandcollaborateswithotherdepartmentstoensuretopqualityandserviceis provided to customers
- Formulatesandinstillsstandardmanufacturingpracticesbasedoncomparativestudiesof methods costs and production figures
- Keepsaccurateandtimelyrecordson allemployeesandprogramsfortheirdepartment.
- Comprehendandexecute theUnionagreement
- Enforcessafetyregulations;promotesallsafetyprograms

- AHigh SchoolDiploma
- 2-3yearsofSupervisoryexperiencepreferablyinanAerospaceManufacturingenvironment
- Experienceinacollectivebargainingenvironmentandwithleanmanufacturingishighlydesirable
