The Opportunity
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Completions Lead to join our Energy and Utilities business in Perth based in the CBD.
The Completions Lead is responsible for managing the quality assurance and quality control teams across the project and ensuring that Downers completions obligations are met. This includes overseeing the collation and submission of quality documentation managing the completion dossiers and liaising with the clients quality and completions team to ensure successful handover of work scopes. The role ensures quality compliance and efficiency in completion systems and sign-off processes contributing directly to project delivery success. This role will also include some site travel.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience using Smart Completions / Omega(essential)
- Experience in electrical/mechanical design installation testing and commissioning
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Structural Civil Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred) also trade with extensive experience considered.
- Certification in Quality Assurance or Compliance is essential
- Minimum 5 years in a quality or completions lead role within the resources construction or mining sectors
- Demonstrated experience leading QA/QC teams
- Strong knowledge of completions systems (e.g. CCMS Smart Completions or similar)
- Experience in client-side interface for handover and scope acceptance
- Strong planning coordination and documentation management skills
- Ability to liaise confidently with internal teams and client representatives
- Familiarity with QA/QC and completions procedures MDRs ITRs and turnover packages
- High-level computer skills particularly with MS Office and completions tracking tools
