About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join the team of a pioneering company in the medical technology field. This organization is dedicated to advancing healthcare through cutting-edge digital and hardware solutions and is currently scaling its Agile practices across LATAM-based teams. The ideal candidate will act as a servant-leader promoting Agile maturity and team performance while navigating a high-impact cross-border environment.
Key Responsibilities
Scrum Master Duties
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives
Ensure adherence to Agile principles and Scrum best practices
Identify and help remove team impediments
Act as a shield against external interruptions
Communication & Collaboration
Serve as a liaison between Agile teams and business stakeholders
Foster transparency open communication and collaboration
Guide constructive conflict resolution within teams
Performance & Process Improvement
Track and report on team performance velocity and Agile maturity
Provide visibility to leadership on progress risks and blockers
Promote a culture of continuous improvement innovation and adaptability
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelors in Computer Science Business IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
5 years of experience as a Scrum Master
Proven experience guiding multiple Agile teams ideally in cross-cultural settings
Background supporting teams transitioning from Waterfall to Agile
Skills & Tools
Strong knowledge of Scrum framework and Agile methodologies
Proficiency in tools like Jira Trello or similar
Excellent facilitation coaching and mentoring skills
Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving abilities
Certifications
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) required
Additional certifications (e.g. Certified Agile Coach PMI-ACP) are a plus
Language & Travel Requirements
Fluent English (C1) is mandatory
Valid U.S. visa required (occasional travel to the United States is expected)
