Job Description
Nurse Practitioner Anesthesiology Permanent Role
- Location: Killeen TX 76543
- Assignment Duration: Permanent
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
- Conduct comprehensive or problem-focused physical and mental health assessments.
- Review patient histories to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Order interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic procedures in line with clinical protocols.
- Perform clinical procedures as needed and allowed by credentialing.
- Provide health education and behavior modification counseling to patients.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and treatment effectiveness.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic and treatment methods for surgical and anesthesia-related care.
- Familiarity with drug interactions preventive care and therapy alternatives.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in EMR systems and general medical software.
- Skilled in developing comprehensive outcome-based treatment plans.
- Texas RN License or Compact State RN License
- Texas APRN License Nurse Practitioner
- National Certification as an NP in related patient population (e.g. ANCC AANP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Experience: New grads welcome less than 1 year of NP experience required
- Certifications: NP license RN license BLS Certification.
