Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Facility: Dallas Regional Medical Center
Location: 1011 North Galloway Avenue Mesquite TX 75149
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 9:00 AM 7:30 PM (M Thu)
Pay Rate: $56/hr (W2) $60/hr (1099)

Position Overview:
Dallas Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in Mesquite TX. The role requires proficiency in diagnostic imaging particularly with experience in Labor & Delivery suggesting a strong preference for OB/GYN ultrasound specialization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including OB/GYN studies
- Transmit and process images via PACS systems
- Maintain a safe clean and compliant work environment
- Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures and patient records
- Adhere to protocols and standards of care
Qualifications:
- Certification:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS-ARDMS) or
- Sonography certification through ARRT (S-ARRT)

- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program

- Experience:
- Prior experience in Labor & Delivery required

- Certifications Required:
- Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) must be maintained throughout the assignment

- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with PACS and basic computer applications
