Tableau BI Developer
Location: Trenton NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: Contract
Job Description
We are looking for a Tableau BI Developer to gather business requirements design build and deploy BI solutions using Tableau.
What Youll Do
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand and gather business requirements
- Design develop test and deploy robust Tableau dashboards and reports that align with business requirements and provide actionable insights
- Research and recommend innovative BI solutions and visualization methods to improve the projects data-driven decision-making process
- Evaluate predictive analytics models to forecast future scenarios and inform strategic planning
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear understandable presentations
- Ensure data quality and integrity in dashboards and reports
- Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on how to use BI tools and dashboards effectively
- Continually refine and iterate BI strategy based on evolving project needs
What Youll Need
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
- Deep hands-on technical expertise
- Solid software development background including design patterns data structures test-driven development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 7 years of experience with Tableau Dashboard Design & Development
- 7 years of experience with Data Visualization & Storytelling
- 7 years of experience with Business Requirements Gathering
- 7 years of experience with Predictive Analytics & Forecasting Models
- 7 years of experience with ETL (Extract Transform Load) Processes
- 5 years of experience with Data Warehousing Concepts
- 7 years of experience with Data Analysis & Interpretation
- 7 years of experience with Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
