POLYWOOD Seasonal Opportunities - 1st Shift 5a-2:30p ($18 p/h)
What Youll Do
As a Welder in our Fabrication Department youll contribute to the creation of core components that ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of our furniture.
- Welding various braces and support parts including:
- Multiple styles of aluminum chaise lounge braces
- Aluminum table supports and brackets
- Steel grids for table reinforcement using MIG welding
- Performing TIG welding for most aluminum components and MIG welding for both aluminum and steel as needed
- Operating a Laser CNC: loading sheets importing and editing cut files
- Monitoring equipment and paint line loading/unloading of parts
- Weighing/measuring coatings and monitoring spray booth systems
- Maintaining tools such as pre-treatment equipment ovens and powder applicators
- Conducting quality inspections and reporting any issues
- Supporting general safety and cleanliness of the department
What Were Looking For
- 3 years of welding or fabrication experience preferred
- Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding (aluminum and steel)
- Familiarity with CNC cutting and fabrication systems
- Strong work ethic and precision-minded approach to quality
- Comfortable lifting 25100 lbs and working 810 hour shifts
- Reliable detail-oriented and safety-focused
