The Opportunity

We are seeking an Electronic Repair Engineer I to support our product service and repair operations. In this hands-on role youll perform complex electrical and mechanical repairs conduct root cause analyses and support engineering documentation efforts. Youll work across teams to troubleshoot advanced system issues improve repair processes and assist in technician training. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of electronics schematics and high-voltage systems along with the ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and troubleshoot complex electronic and mechanical systems
  • Perform component-level diagnostics on analog digital and RF circuits
  • Build and use custom test fixtures for diagnostics and validation
  • Support root cause analysis and drive improvements in processes and reliability
  • Read and interpret detailed schematics and diagrams
  • Create and update repair procedures test protocols and engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on design improvements and reverse engineering
  • Train and support junior technicians
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 standards

Knowledge Skills and Abilities youll need for this opportunity:

  • Associate degree in Electronics (7 years of experience) or relevant technical/bachelors degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in electronics repair or engineering support
  • Advanced troubleshooting and soldering skills (SMT & PTH)
  • Strong understanding of analog digital RF and high-voltage systems
  • Excellent technical documentation and communication skills
  • Experience with schematics test tools (oscilloscopes multimeters etc.) and engineering software
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks and electronics design tools is a plus
  • Experience in R&D reverse engineering and mentoring others is highly valued
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and medical device quality standards (preferred).
