AECOM is actively growing the NJ Transportation Planning practice and is seeking a creative highly talented Senior Environmental Planner/Permitting Specialist for environmental review projects within the Transportation Business Line. The successful candidate will oversee and prepare National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Executive Order No. 215 (EO 215) environmental review documents as well as Federal State and local environmental permit application development for major infrastructure projects within NJ. The successful applicant will join our team of existing AECOM Planning Specialists to assist in project delivery.
The role is based out of our Piscataway or Bloomfield NJ office on a hybrid office/remote schedule (3 days/week in the office 2 days remote/week).
Our Senior Environmental Planner/Permitting Specialist is a newly created role to handle our growing business of environmental permitting and documentation for infrastructure projects in NJ. In this role you will support the New Jersey Planning Department Manager for Impacts Assessments & Permitting (IAP) while managing transportation projects and client relations.
