As the welcoming voice and face of USD youwill:
Greet visitors and callers with professionalism and courtesy
Provideaccurateinformation andassistwith public inquiries
Perform light administrative support tasks to keep things running smoothly
Help ensure excellent service during peak times holidays and when regular staff are away
About the Position:
Schedule: Flexible on an as-needed basis.
Hours: Can range from short 2-hour shifts to longer coverage as needed. Monthly hours vary significantly and are not guaranteed.
Holiday Season: Increased availabilityduring November and December for holiday season support.

The ideal candidate will:
ProfessionallyrepresenttheDistrict greeting visitors and callers with a courteous patient and helpful demeanor both in person and over the phone.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities andmaintainproper telephone etiquette when interacting with the public.
Successfully manage various administrative responsibilities as assigned.
Utilize basic computer applications including MS Word Excel and Outlook with the ability to quickly learnadditionalsoftware and database systems.
Effectively juggle multiple tasks visitors and phone calls while prioritizing responses appropriately.
Maintain an excellent attendance and punctuality record.
Show flexibility and availability to work throughout the weekas needed.
Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing using proper grammar punctuation and spelling

Minimum Qualifications:
Have completed the twelfth grade or its equivalent and worked at least one year providing general clerical or office support that included receptionist duties
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office and other common business software.
