What You Will Do

Pratt & Whitney Controls & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) is a dynamic engineering organization focused on the development and certification of military and commercial gas turbine engine control and diagnostic systems. CDS is responsible for all aspects of Pratt & Whitney engine control and diagnostic system development and support including requirements analysis & definition system & software architecture algorithm design product software design verification & validation and engine and flight test CDS organization is seeking a highly motivated team oriented and results driven engineer to join our world-class organization.

• Responsible for designing developing and implementing solutions to control dynamic mechanical power and electric systems.

• Decompose system level and customer interface requirements into software or systems requirements and designs.

• Conduct iterative prototype testing and reviews of requirements and designs.

• Perform software verification including regression analysis test case development test script development and evaluation of results.

• English (read write speak) is required when communicating with customers co-workers or supervisors who only speak English.

• Travel up to 10% domestically.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Aerospace Computer Software or Electrical Engineering.

• 2 years of engineering experience or advanced degree in STEMwith a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Knowledge of gas turbine jet engine operation and sub-systems.

• Programming experience in C MATLAB Java or Phyton.

• Experience with modeling tools for complex systems (NPSS Dymola Simulink).
