In this role you will have a direct impact on enhancing clinical practice supporting educational programs and facilitate ongoing learning to staff and key leaders.

Expectations of our ICU RN Educator:

• Demonstrates expertise in the teaching/learning process and assists management and clinical staff to develop and provide educational programs
• Utilizes Prophecy Assessments to identify learning needs and assists
• Collaboratively develop and perform needs assessments to determine developmental and educational needs
• Assesses critical thinking interpersonal relations and technical skills of staff to assist in categorization of orientation and staff development
• Communicates with staff to facilitate development of their clinical management and/ or research skills
• Promotes career advancement including clinical ladder and differentiated practice through mentorship
• Consults with management and clinical staff to coordinate an effective preceptor and mentor program
• Consults with management to develop revise and implement costeffective patient outcomes driven educational programs tools and materials for all nursing staff

Qulifications:

• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Registered Nurse and BLS required
• Three (3) years of clinical education experience
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledgeable of instructional design and principles of adult learning
