Job Description

Key Account Manager
In-person in Orem UT
$60000 OTE $80000
The Key Account Manager serves as a strategic liaison and advocate for Nexios most critical merchant clients. This role focuses on relationship continuity partnership health and long-term satisfaction without any responsibility for selling or promoting new products or services. KAMs ensure client needs are proactively met by orchestrating internal resources and facilitating strategic alignment.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain executive-level relationships within assigned top-tier accounts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to understand client goals operational needs and satisfaction levels.
  • Act as the internal advocate for client priorities guiding internal teams (e.g. support product underwriting) to deliver aligned outcomes.
  • Monitor processing health integration status and client milestones to ensure long-term success.
  • Lead strategic planning conversationsbut do not engage in sales or renewals.
  • Own escalation paths and ensure cross-functional coordination to resolve high-impact issues.
  • Provide market insights and client feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
  • Regularly review pricing and profitability to make sure costs and margins are reasonable and within company expectations
Qualifications
  • 5 years in account management customer advocacy or partner management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage executive relationships without a sales agenda
  • Strong cross-functional coordination skills
  • Deep understanding of merchant services workflows risks and priorities
Key Metrics of Success
  • Client health score (qualitative quantitative indicators)
  • Retention rate of key accounts
  • Resolution time for high-impact issues
  • Internal alignment and strategic project participation
