Job Description
The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a dedicated Senior Manager of Maintenance & Reliability to join the BPP & Chemical Manufacturing organization. The successful candidate will lead and oversee a large multidisciplinary team of reliability engineers and maintenance professionals in a complex manufacturing environment.
This role is full-time on site in Paris KY.
Minimum Education Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical electrical or industrial engineering or a related technical field.
Required Experience:
10 years
- Maintenance.
5 years
- Leadership.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Business level written and verbal communication skills.
- Reading and interpreting P&IDs technical documents and regulatory standards.
Preferred Experience:
- CMMS systems.
- Mechanical and electrical systems including shop skills (welding machining etc.).

The Senior Manager Maintenance and Reliability is responsible for:
- Leadership & Strategy
- Reliability Engineering & Analysis
- Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
- Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Administrative & Cross-Functional Support
This SME level role ensures the development and execution of maintenance and reliability strategies that enhance equipment performance reduce downtime and support continuous improvement. The position requires a strong focus on regulatory compliance documentation and cross-functional collaboration with engineering production and quality departments.
