Responsibilities
The incumbent participates in programs involving operation and maintenance of buildings grounds equipment distribution lines for steam hot water plumbing electricity refrigeration sanitation for
hospital and Medical Office buildings. Will respond effectively to emergency situations including fire disruptions of above stated utilities or other emergency situations.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence speak effectively before individuals or employees of the organization. Ability to perform basic computer skills needed to input and extract engineering work orders and other documentation.
Qualifications
Required:
- 4 years Related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Universal CFC certification
- Valid California Drivers License
Preferred:
- Associate Science Degree in Mechanical Electrical Technology or related field
- 2 years hospital experience
