Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a Nissan Parts Manager who has excellent attention to detail and is responsible for managing inventory. The qualified candidate must be highly organized and anticipate the needs of the service department and our retail customers while ensuring that all parts and supplies are provided promptly.

Parts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department.
  • Hire train and monitor the performance of all parts department staff.
  • Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments.
  • Create pricing guidelines for customer categories.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory.
  • Guarantee all parts are properly tagged.
  • Supervise stock order procedures.
  • Work closely with the service and body shop managers to ensure the timely turnaround of needed parts
  • Provides technical assistance when necessary.
  • Develop and enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Enforce safety requirements.

Parts Manager Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in parts management
  • Nissan experience is a plus
  • CDK experience required
  • Technical automotive knowledge
  • Management experience and skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic understanding of inventory and reporting
