The Operations Orchestration product team (OOPT) focuses on building and sustaining digital products for shopfloor operations management. This product team encompasses two key capabilities: Finite Scheduling and Manufacturing Productivity. These capabilities are essential for the optimized operation of the shop floor and provide enhanced visibility of the status of the production process. Operations Orchestration operates within the Manufacturing Value Team (MVT) of Digital our Manufacturing Division.
Our product team is expanding rapidly to meet increasing demand for Manufacturing Productivity capabilities across the worldwide our Manufacturing Division network. As such we are recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst/Engineer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining configurations for the capabilities within the Operations Orchestration product with special focus on Manufacturing Productivity (OEE/OA/OR/Batch Tracking/Downtime Tracking).
The Senior Business Analyst/Engineer will participate on new deployments as well as provide ongoing operational support at existing our Manufacturing Division sites. Duties will include system (Seeq) configuration testing and documentation along with responding to support and enhancement requests from site users.
Responsibilities:
- Configure the manufacturing productivity system (Seeq based) for Drug Substance Drug Product and Packaging operations.
- Update and modify existing manufacturing site configurations as per business needs
- Provide support for the Manufacturing Productivity system and Seeq platform for our site users. This includes troubleshooting escalating and resolving issues reported by the users at the different sites
- Assist technical OOPT members with data analysis for manufacturing system integrations and the debugging/testing of data interfaces using SQL.
- Map operations process data parameters to source system data parameters (e.g. MES MBRs PI event frames SAP etc.)
- Manage technical and business dependencies and bottlenecks; balance technical constraints with business requirements; and deliver maximum business impact with solid customer experience
- Enable effective implementation utilization and adoption of the Operation Orchestration applications at the different sites
- Defining and managing critical content for training and communication for product users

Required Education and Experience:
- B.S. in Engineering or equivalent technical field with 5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience with advanced industrial analytics
- Advanced knowledge of probability and statistics
- Strong ability to translate business needs to technical requirements and to communicate digital concepts to non-technical personnel
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate with key stakeholder groups and drive/influence results in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to independently develop innovative solutions for complex problems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a globally distributed team
- Practice in Agile Methodology and Continuous Improvement and with a Digital & Innovative mindset
- Expertise in authoring and executing technical documentation following industry standards and methodologies (SDLC AGILE)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a sense of ownership enthusiasm and innovation
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Manufacturing expertise preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Seeq expertise including Seeq Workbench Seeq Organizer Seeq Data Lab & Seeq Vantage
- Experience with BI tools (i.e. Microsoft Power BI Spotfire)
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems such as MES Pi etc.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5 2023 employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week Monday - Thursday although the specific days may vary by site or organization with Friday designated as a remote-working day unless business critical tasks require an on-site Hybrid work model does not apply to and daily in-person attendance is required for field-based positions; facility-based manufacturing-based or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The salary range for this role is
$114700.00 - $180500.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills geographic location government requirements and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive if applicable.
