JOB SUMMARY

The JOY Ride Driver meets and greets guests to on campus with a smile and a friendly welcome to Saint Francis as he/she transports people to and from our facility to their vehicles. This is a very professional and at times personal role that requires excellent customer service and interaction with our valued guests.

Core Responsibilities:

-Picks up patients throughout the entire Saint Francis Medical Centers campus and safely transports them across the facility.
-Display proficiency in operating the JOY Ride vehicles.
-Become familiar with the vehicles to ensure proper and safe function.
-Ensures that the vehicle maintenance schedule is up-to-date; confirms that there are no mechanical issues.
-If defects are discovered orchestrate repairs with the Facilities department.
-Maintain clean and sanitary vehicle/workspace.
-Inspects the vehicle to ensure that no personal items are left behind.
-Completes reports at the end of shift if necessary.
-Arrives at the predetermined location on time to pick up the patient.
-Performs other related duties as required

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

Type: Part-time 8:30a-5:00p

Education:

N/A

Certification & Licensures:

-Must hold a current valid Drivers License

-Chauffeurs License - Preferred / Not Required

Experience:

-Excellent driving skills.

-Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

-Excellent time management skills.

-Thorough understanding of the Saint Francis Medical Center Campus.
