Description

Under minimal supervision the Senior Technical Service Technician will provide planned and corrective maintenance service on ASP equipment both in-house and at remote sites.

Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Technician is responsible for maintaining history records of work performed in service tracking software.
  • Assist US Field Service by providing on-site planned and corrective maintenance on ASP equipment as backup to FSEs.
  • Maintains inventory level of parts and kits needed to support repair activities on ASP equipment in Irvine location.
  • Maintain technical service training systems used in training FSEs and Biomed engineers.
  • Perform rework on subassemblies.
  • Rework documented in service tracking software.
  • Assist Technical Service Engineers to document service activities associated with new product development.
  • Provide telephone and e-mail technical support to J&J and customer technical personnel throughout the product market.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years technical service experience on electro-mechanical capital medical equipment with HS diploma;
  • 1-3 years technical service experience on electro-mechanical capital medical equipment with AA/AS diploma is required.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time
