Civil Estimator
Location: Windsor CO (Hybrid eligible)
Salary: $85000 $115000 depending on experience
Benefits: Annual performance-based bonus health/dental/vision insurance 401(k) match PTO

We are a well-established and growing civil contractor with an office based in Windsor Colorado known for our high-quality civil projects and strong relationships throughout the region. As we continue to expand we are seeking a motivated Civil Estimator to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to grow with a company that is in a strong growth pattern.
Position Summary
The Civil Estimator will play a key role in developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of civil construction projects including earthwork utilities roadways and site development. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and passionate about supporting the project team in winning work and ensuring profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects including takeoffs and pricing
Analyze drawings specifications and other documentation to prepare time cost materials and labor estimates
Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier bids
Collaborate with project managers engineers and other estimators to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
Track historical cost data to improve accuracy of future estimates
Support project handoff and coordination with operations team
Qualifications
3 years of experience in civil construction estimating
Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. HeavyBid Agtek Bluebeam or similar)
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints plans and technical specifications
Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
