Are you a proactive detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment As the Assistant to the Executive Leadership Teamsupporting the Associate Vice President (AVP) and two Assistant Vice Presidentsyoull play a vital role in keeping our Facilities Services division running smoothly.
In this role you will:
Be the trusted right hand to our executive leaders providing high-level confidential support.
Take charge of day-to-day administrative and operational activities ensuring everything flows efficiently and effectively.
Manage the flow of information making sure communication is timely accurate and well-coordinated.
Serve as the go-to liaison between our team and both internal departments and external partners.
Essential Job Duties include:
Represent the AVP and Executive Staff when needed acting on their behalf with professionalism and discretion.
Be the primary point of contact for inquiries helping to foster strong relationships across the university and beyond.
Help implement and coordinate internal operations in alignment with our strategic goals and university policies.
Contribute your voice to executive discussions offering input on policies and procedures as a valued member of the leadership team.
Take initiative in managing a wide range of complex administrative tasksindependently and with confidence.

Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. Overtime eligibility is dependent on final placement withing the salary range.
Monthly Salary: $5500 - $6500 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelors degree in business administration or other relevant field AND five (5) years of managing administrative support experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Four years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.
Demonstrated experience effectively handling confidential and sensitive information.
Demonstrated experience communicating with individuals of all levels using a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
Experience utilizing excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
State of Washington Notary License (must be able to obtain within 6 months).
Preferred Qualifications:
Comprehensive understanding of the University organization structure policies and procedures.
Experience using computer-based technologies related to operation of a large facilities organization.
Experience coordinating the maintenance of complex policy manuals.
Knowledge of University policies regarding the search process used to fill A/P vacancies.
Experience preparing newsletters.
Experience working in large organization and coordinating work across multiple organizational units.
