Job Description

Trinity is currently hiring a part-time After School Counselor within our ASCARE (After School Care) Program. Responsible for ensuring appropriate care supervision and guidance to the children in the childcare program. Staff members help provide a safe clean and nurturing environment. Staff members act as positive role models and help establish positive relationships with participants and their families.

What will you be doing as a After School Counselor

  • Responsible for ensuring appropriate care supervision and guidance to the children in the childcare program.

What are your skills and experience

  • School-Age Child Care Credential or other office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period and one year experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
  • Applicants must have a valid New York State drivers license & able to transport children.
  • Must be able to go up and down stairs have basic computer skills. and must pass criminal background check and medical clearance.
  • Must be able to participate in required training and staff development must be reliable consistent and punctual.
  • Associates degree in Child Development Elementary Education Physical Education Recreation or a related field. or
  • High School diploma or its equivalent and Two years direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.

Salary - $19.68
