Temporary: September 1 2025 April 24 2026 or full return of the incumbent
NOTE: This assignment may be extended.
Job Description
- Assessment direct & consultative support to students requiring augmentative and alternative communication (K-12) as well as consultative support for parents teachers and education assistants
- Itinerant position
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university
- Eligible for current membership in BC Speech & Hearing
- Experience in working with students with diverse needs and school-aged children
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member
- Demonstrated expertise in the application of Augmentative Communication Devices and Programs to support struggling learners
- Experience working in an education setting is preferred
- Must have a car and a valid BC drivers licence for travel from school to school
- Eligible for registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHHPBC)
Salary and Benefits:
- The annual salary for this position ranges from $60337 to $111450 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
