Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician, to join a manufacturing company, that provides products to the agricultural industry, at their site based in Teesside, on a temporary basis for 6 months. The salary for this equates to 26,000 pa.

Laboratory Technician main duties:
- Preparing and analysing exploration drill core samples.
- Keeping the Laboratory Manager informed of laboratory problems on a day-to-day basis.
- Developing good relationships with team members and internal customers.
- Following method statements and risk assessments.
- Working with other laboratory staff, to determine potential efficiency and performance improvements to workflows within the department.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Science, Maths and English.
- Ability to handle large and heavy samples of drill core ~20 kg) on a regular basis.
- IOSH Working Safely certificate (desirable).
