Logistics and Distribution Specialist (Onsite)

Our Power & Controls division is seeking a Logistics and Distribution Specialist. This role supports the Logistics Team by ensuring seamless operations through effective contract management inventory oversight and supplier coordination helping to drive efficiency and responsiveness in our supply chain.

What You Will Do

• Inventory Management: Oversee the identification segregation and tracking of Collins Aerospace parts from Actuation BU inventory at 3PLs 4PLs and Regional DCs to ensure accurate divestiture and compliance with project timelines.

• Contract Management: Administer and monitor contracts with 3PL/4PL logistics providers and other partners ensuring alignment with Redwood Project objectives and Collins Aerospace standards.

• Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers and logistics vendors to maintain service levels resolve issues and optimize supply chain performance during the divestiture process.

• Project Support: Work closely with the Logistics Team to execute Redwood Project milestones including coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operational transitions.

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize logistics and inventory management systems to generate reports track KPIs and provide insights to support decision-making.

• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all logistics activities adhere to regulatory safety and company standards maintaining accurate records for audit purposes.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in aerospace or defense industry logistics.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics distribution or supply chain management.

• Proven experience with inventory management and working with 3PL/4PL providers.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external partners.

• Experience with SAP.
