The Senior Analyst - Expense Transformation will join the Capital and Productivity Reporting team within Northern Trusts Finance Organization.
This role is responsible for enterprise-wide Productivity reporting. Productivity is one of the three Northern Trust strategy pillars. The role collects consolidates and prepares monthly reporting which is delivered to the CEO and his directs. In order to do so the role partners with colleagues across businesses and functions continuously. In addition to monthly reporting this position responds to ad-hoc requests from leadership and will be a key participant in developing and implementing process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Productivity reporting monthly for the enterprise.
- Mature Productivity reporting into PowerBI.
- Understand and articulate changes to the Productivity forecast as result of changes to business cases.
- Partner with the Productivity Office businesses and functions in a consulting capacity in relation to Productivity initiatives and associated benefits.
- Brainstorm cost levers to implement in conjunction with the Productivity Office.
- Prepare both planned and ad hoc reports for executives.
- Identify automation opportunities in day-to-day responsibilities.
Knowledge:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in a financial analysis role preferably within the financial services industry.
- Advanced Excel skills are critical.
- Advanced Power BI skills are desired.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to summarize and distill important information via presentation to executive leadership.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.

Salary Range:
$83100 - 141300 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension) health and welfare benefits (medical dental vision spending accounts and disability) paid time off parental and caregiver leave life & accident insurance and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
