Manufacturing Specialist Quality Control Inspection (All Shifts)

We are growing in a big way and are currently hiring multiple Manufacturing Specialists inQuality Control Inspection.

This role supports final circuit board inspection. Successful candidates for this role should have high attention to detail the ability to inspect using a microscope in a seated position for extended periods.

SHIFT DETAILS:

1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm (5x8)

2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm (5x8)

3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 8:30am (4x10 Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat)

BENEFITS:

  • Competitive hourly wages with shift differentials (10% for 2nd shift 15% for 3rd shift and a stackable 5% for all weekend shifts).
  • Annual bonus target of 7% on top of hourly wages.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct inspection work under a microscope.
  • Follow production work instructions electrical schematics and blueprints and assembly diagrams.
  • Use factory software to track prioritize work-in-process and generate non-conformance reports.
  • Provide written and verbal summaries of observations requiring escalation.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school Diploma or GED and 1 years of relevant experience a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have high attention to detail.
  • Expertise in complex assembly or production skills and advanced knowledge of the accepted practices operating methods policies and procedures within the assembly production function.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Windows.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES:

  • Associates degree or higher.
  • Soldering skills (certificate desirable).
  • Previous IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and documentation.
  • Microscope inspection experience.
  • Quality control or quality assurance experience.

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile.
  • The employee is also required to interact with a computer and seated microscope inspection for extended periods of time and communicate with co-workers.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours / week.
  • Must possess a high degree of dexterity and eye coordination to allow manipulation of buttons switches hand tools and knobs on delicate equipment products and parts in the performance of essential functions.
  • Must possess specific vision abilities required including close vision and distance vision color vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.
