About the job
- Oversee and execute all accounting functions to ensure accuracy timeliness and compliance with company policies.
- Responsible for preparing and processing yearly 1099 forms for vendors and consultants.
- Maintain general ledger integrity across key areas: Sales cost of sales expenses Inventory banking capital and intercompany transactions Sales and use tax compliance.
- Handle accounts payable including bill entry and payment processing.
- Administer and process weekly and monthly commission payments for the sales team.
- Serve as the primary contact for banking institutions and tax vendors.
- Assist the Head of Finance in reporting analysis and project management.
- Perform various administrative and ad hoc financial tasks and reporting as needed.
About you
We are looking for a unique and amazing talent who brings along the following:
- Bachelor or masters in finance or accounting.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role within an international setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions and data analysis tools
- Experience with QuickBooks; strong knowledge preferred
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Avalara tax software is an advantage
