Job Description
- Help ensure the best possible kinship care arrangements for children and young people.
- SCHADS Level 4 increase take-home pay with up to $15900 salary packaging benefits.
- Grow your skills and experience in this ongoing full-time position based in Horsham.
Your new role
You will manage cases effectively for children and young people aged 0-18 in Kinship placements. This involves supporting them through daily challenges fostering positive relationships and engaging them in activities designed to build resilience and self-esteem.
You will work closely with kinship carers birth parents extended family members and professionals to provide a secure and nurturing environment for the childs development. You will harness the capacity of extended family networks to ensure the best possible kinship care arrangements for the children and young people in your care.

Your skills and experience
- Diploma of Community Welfare Work or related discipline. (Desirable but not essential)
- Current drivers license. (Mandatory)
- Experience in the community services sector in a case management role (desirable)
- Previous experience in the child and family welfare field this experience will be in Child Protection Out of Home Care Family Services and/or other services working with vulnerable families and children.
