Senior Healthcare Assistant Night Shifts 14 per Hour Full-Time Beautiful Countryside Care Home

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their dedicated night team. Based in a stunning care home nestled in the countryside this role offers the chance to deliver exceptional care in a peaceful and supportive environment.

This is a full-time permanent night shift position ideal for someone with experience in elderly care who is looking to step into a senior role with purpose and progression.

Working within a close-knit team the Senior Healthcare Assistant will lead and support overnight care delivery for a small number of older residents many of whom are living with dementia. The service focuses on providing high-quality residential and dementia care where each resident is treated with dignity compassion and respect.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above
  • Prior experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Senior Healthcare Assistant is essential.
  • Experience in elderly care particularly dementia care is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lead by example with a caring and professional approach.
  • Strong communication teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable working night shifts and managing responsibilities independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and oversee compassionate person-centred care throughout the night.
  • Support residents with their individual care plans promoting dignity and comfort.
  • Lead and mentor night staff ensuring a calm professional working environment.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Respond to residents physical and emotional needs with empathy and efficiency.
  • Ensure the home remains safe and secure during night hours.
  • Work in close partnership with families colleagues and healthcare professionals.
